Last issue there was teenage Lex, this issue there's Bizarro Lex. Also, the first major LEGION OF SUPER HEROES appearance in some time and the first appearance of the popular--if somewhat ridiculous--Legion of Super Pets. The big news, though, was the editorial letter on the inside front cover about the two cent price increase.
Nelson Bridwell of "Oklahoma City, N.Y." suggests having a Bizarro named "Awkwardman"; years later, -E.- Nelson Bridwell co-creates the superhero knock-off team "The Inferior Five", featuring a Batman parody called "Awkwardman". Coincidence?
