Adventure Comics # 224, May, 1956



This issue's SUPERBOY story is a variation on a much-used plot where the Boy of Steel has to humor someone and cover for them at the same time for some reason or other. In this case, it's Jonathan Kent who thinks he's Superman!
















Below is one of the earliest--if not THE earliest--of the Palisades Park ads spotlighting the Man of Steel. When I first saw these long-running ads a decade later, I didn't have a clue where New Jersey was but I sure wanted to go to Palisades Park!
